Meet Our Doctors
Our goal is for you to leave our office with a memorable and enjoyable experience, which is why our welcoming and compassionate staff will do everything they can to make you feel right at home.
Dr. Mulhall attained his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 1981 and founded Family Optical in 1983. He previously sat on the Board of Examiners for the Manitoba Association of Optometrists (MAO) and is past-chair of the Regulatory Advisory Committee (RAC), which was responsible for drafting therapeutic drug legislation. Dale’s hobbies include golf, fishing and spending time with wife Lauren, at their cottage.
Dr. Mulhall is reducing his availability. While he is still seeing patients from time to time, he would recommend you schedule your next appointment with one of our other optometrists. His daughter, Colleen will be happy to continue with your care.

Dr. Colleen Mulhall graduated from the University of Waterloo optometry program in 2017 and achieved the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award. She is a member of the International Academy of Low Vision and is proud to provide low vision care in addition to primary care optometry.
Colleen has two adorable kids, loves reading and travel.

Dr. Kevany graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2020. At graduation, she was awarded the OAO Award for Excellence in Patient Management. Dr. Kevany serves on the council for Manitoba Association of Optometrists and was awarded the MAO’s Emerging Leader award in 2022.
Dr. Kevany grew up in south-east Winnipeg. She loves board games, traveling and reading! Dr. Kevany is bilingual in French and English.

Dr. Phil Crupi
Dr. Phil Crupi completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology at the University of Manitoba in 2021 before pursuing his Doctor of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in Chicago graduating with Honours in 2025. He has a special interest in managing ocular disease and acute eye problems in addition to providing comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens fittings.
Dr. Crupi enjoys hockey, golf and hiking. He loves to chat but will do his best to keep appointments to the allotted duration.
